HPV Vaccinations

Earlier this year Bh2 Leisure joined forces with NHS Dorest to provide one of the locations for a free vaccination drop-in centre for young people who missed their HPV vaccination at school.

To date, the campaign has seen good engagement with around 160 vaccines given across Dorset.

Centre Manager Bryan Taylor said: ‘We are always looking for opportunities to support local partners so when the NHS approached us, we didn’t hesitate to offer Bh2 as a location. It’s a great campaign that we were happy to support ’

Why get the HPV vaccination?

HPV is a common sexually transmitted infection. With the right vaccination, you can reduce your risk of developing HPV related cancers and genital warts. So, it’s important to make sure you are up to date with your vaccination.
