Freshers Fair

Looking to join a club or society, or just want to see what Bournemouth has to offer? The SUBU has got you covered! Attend on the 26th September 2026 to talk to hundreds of clubs and societies, as well as over 90 businesses operating in the city, with freebies and discounts for you to collect.

Refreshers Fair

Returning to Bournemouth this year? SUBU has you covered with their refreshers fair if you couldn’t make the freshers fair. Showcasing a variety of societies that you can join, as well as the best deals and offers available to both Bournemouth University and Arts University Bournemouth student, you can attend on the 2nd February 2027.

Even though new students will be coming in September, the weather will still be warm enough for you to have a swim in the waters.

Looking for more excitement? Try out a surfing class! With a variety of vendors to choose from, you will be able to ride the waves like a pro in no time.

The SU even has it's own surf club, so if you are looking to make friends along the way you can!

Volunteering 

You choose how you give back!

Contribute to the community by participating in a variety of volunteering and community projects, either by going abroad to raise money for a cause or by staying more local and volunteering for a charity!
